Over the years, Craigie Stockwell have designed carpets for many homes throughout the world. From a Royal Mansion in Paris, stately homes in the UK to mansions in Madrid and London.
A selection from these carpets are shown here. Including: Our ‘Robert the Bruce’ design from the ‘Silk Route Collection’. Robert Holmes created the pattern with traces of cut pile silk on a loop pile wool background which looks stunning in this luxurious flat designed by Italian designer Turri for the Penthouse, which we installed in Egypt.
Country House Bedroom Rug. ‘Summer Knights’ is the name we gave to this exciting ‘hot’ design for a bedroom rug.
Stephanie’s Rug. Stephanie Bretherton of Quick Step PR commissioned this special rug with silk accents for her new home.
A Studio in St. John’s Wood. With delicate tones and clever use of texture, the motifs on this rug almost ‘float’ on the surface.
An Apartment In Marylebone, London. We created this silk rug with a silk border for a client in Marylebone. Belgravia Mansion. A pure silk cut pile border sets off the wool silk blend in the main body of this luxurious rug.
A Special Room In The Kremlin, Moscow. We created this magnificent carpet for The Kremlin in the Romanov family colours and reflecting the pattern of the George Cross medal ribbon: the highest military honour. The Room is 16 metres square.
Madame Putin sent a special message to thank us for the speed with which we made this carpet to meet a special deadline and to say how much she appreciated the quality and the skill with which it was made.
